Siren Swim Co Is Shifting the Tides

The Story of Siren

Any time spent in and around water benefits our brains, bodies, and mental well-being. For sirens like us, our oceans are a life force. Unfortunately, mortals are selfishly destroying what should be sacred: our seas. At Siren Swim Co, we’re protecting our waters while providing customers with sustainable, ethically-manufactured swimwear made of recycled materials.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide people with swimwear that makes them feel like their best selves while helping to preserve and better our environment. And just as importantly, practicing ethical and responsible business practices as well as ensuring we support other companies and organizations that share our vision.

Our Origins

When my mom and I are together, our favorite thing is to take a walk along the beach. 

I live by a lake and regularly visit my parents at their house on Hilton Head Island. As you can imagine, I own A LOT of bathing suits. Weirdly enough though, none of them seemed to fit me correctly. I always felt like my bottoms were riding up my butt, and my top was digging into me. Or if I bought a bigger size, the straps would slide, and my boobs were bound to pop out. 

One day, during one of our regular mother-daughter beach walks, I mentioned how I’d always thought about starting my own swimwear company, to which my mom said, “So why not do it?” And thus, Siren Swim Co was born. 

As I immersed myself in the swim side of the fashion industry, it became apparent that my brand needs to focus on more than just fit. I wanted to create an inclusive and diverse brand. I envisioned pieces made of sustainable materials and produced in an ethical fashion. So that’s what I did, and I hope you love it as much as I do.
