This stretch bracelet measures 17.5 cm / 7 inches in length. This adjustable bracelet fits any size of wrist between 13 cm (5.2 inches) and 24 cm (9.5 inches.) When you hear ‘Siren’, a Mermaid likely comes to mind. But if you’re familiar with mythology, you know the sea-creatures carry a darker connotation. The collective consciousness has come to recognize Mermaids and Sirens as one in the same. Mermaids are represented as beautiful, secretive, peace-loving women fearful of humankind. Sirens, however, appear as a combination of woman and bird that would seduce sailors through song. After taking the bait, Sirens would lure men to their watery graves. Sirens symbolize temptation and desire, which can lead to destruction and risk; humans have given into the temptation and desire to build bigger and better things, and our lifestyles have begun to lead to the destruction of our oceans as well as put our marine life at risk. Here at Siren Swim, we choose to believe that Sirens were trying to protect our oceans from man.
