This handmade glass bead bracelet is inspired by dusky dolphins, thought to be some of the smartest animals on Earth.

This stretch bracelet measures 17.5 cm / 7 inches in length.   Dusky dolphins can be found in the Southern Hemisphere. Most populations can be found around the coasts of New Zealand, South America, and southwestern Africa. Their body coloration is made up of bands and stripes in multiple hues, they almost look like rainbow dolphins. Dusky dolphins can see in the dark, without their eyes; thanks to echolocation, these acoustically-savvy mammals can forage for their prey at night. They travel and socialize in pods of several hundred and spend a good part of their day tail-slapping, and cartwheeling through the air. We have no idea what their conservation status is; they’re not listed as endangered, or threatened, but we have limited population information about them and unfortunately, there’s a high level of dolphin deaths from dolphin hunting.
